The museum installed in an old school built in 1891 presents the daily life at the beginning of the XXth century of the inhabitants of the Pays d’Olonne. Discover through 6 exhibition rooms traditional crafts, costumes and headdresses, a rural interior, the tools of the salt maker, the peasant, the winemaker, the still of the vintage boiler, a class, souvenirs and objects of the 1914-1918 war. OPENING HOURS:

In July and August:

  • from 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. (except Saturdays and Sundays) and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (except public holidays).

In April, June, September and All Saints:

  • from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays).

The rest of the year:

  • every Tuesday from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • groups by appointment all year round.
  • for children a fun route.
